Lugh
Background
Lugh is from the Udori tribe and has been working on the rivers as a guard and chauffeur. He believes the best of his tribe and thinks they hold an important role in the region at large for being a central hub of information and trade. He also believes the tribe is honest and charitable for their charter of people along the Lirador during the spring and autumn seasons.
He learned from his tribe that “information is key”, so Lugh doesn’t like hidden information. He hates deceit so always seeks the truth and the secrets people may hold. He believes that if everyone is honest you can boldly confront issues and build a strong society.
Lugh spent time learning to wield the spear as part of his guard training, as all river guard are. He also learned limited skills in magic as part of his training. A lot of the magic he knows has roots in other tribe’s traditions, and at this point only the elders know which skills are originally from Udori and which have been borrowed into their culture.
He wears a necklace gifted to him by his parents that he holds dear. They mysteriously left the Udori tribe a couple years ago and he hasn't heard from them since.
When he was younger he visited other regions of this known world with his parents. A memory that sticks out to him was their travels to Artoi. After a difficult journey they found themselves in a small village. Upon arrival they were immediately rejected and barred entry. Although the region has a wintery beauty, he thinks the people there can be unwelcoming and cold hearted.
Lastly, Lugh is always on the lookout to find the best apple cinnamon pie. Will he know the joy of finding a perfect pastry?
